Soil Scientist providing soil analytical services and expertise on chemical and physical analyses of soils, wastes and related material. Currently Head of Technical Services, within Environmental & Biogeochemical Sciences department responsible for twenty strong team.
Interests include soil quality and quality control in relation to soil analysis, predominantly within the laboratory environment, including development of anaerobic digestate (AD) analysis.
Consultancy services to external companies regarding provision of soil quality control and accreditation.
Archivist for the Scottish National Soils Archive.
