I am an applied environmental and natural resource economist with an interdisciplinary research profile focused on the blue and water economy. My work examines value chains across seafood, the water industry, and natural resources, including water and peat, with strong alignment to Scottish and international policy priorities. I have expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods, developed through leading and contributing to social science components of major collaborative and individual projects. I have held leadership roles across multi-partner research programmes and am building a strong track record in publications and external funding. My research has directly engaged and informed policy and industry stakeholders, including the Scottish Government, SEPA, Consumer Scotland, and Zero Waste Scotland, and has led to invitations to contribute as an academic expert to national stakeholder forums.
