Research interests

I am a plant disease epidemiologist specialising in data mining, machine learning, ArcGIS, simulation modelling, and the development of decision support tools for agriculture. Currently I am a Research Leader at the James Hutton Institute, with several roles under Scottish Government Strategic Research Programme 2022-2027: Lead of Topic Line A1 (Plant Disease), institute Lead of Theme A (Plant & Animal Disease), and Lead PI for project JHI-A1-1 on plant disease epidemiology.
