Abstract

This report has been produced by the JHI-D1-1 Nitrogen deposition Impacts in Natural Ecosystems and JHI-D5-2 Climate Change Impacts on Natural Capital Project funded by the Scottish Government Rural and Environment Science and Analytical Services Strategic Research Programme (2022-2027). The aim of this work is to develop a modelling approach that can be used to provide baseline mapping of selected alpine habitats at a national scale, which can then be used to assess how changes in future climate and nitrogen (N) deposition (including spatial and temporal patterns) will influence habitat distribution and to identify habitats at greater risk from these changes.
