Abstract

The aim of this workshop was to showcase traditional crop varieties from the Plovdiv region in Bulgaria, focusing on how traditional tomato crops can be brought to farmers’ fields and consumers’ tables – what are the possibilities and challenges posed by this endeavour – as an adaptive response to the climatic and socioeconomic crisis that Mediterranean agriculture is facing.
