Abstract
A rabbit immunised with whole J2 of Globoderra rostochiensisr G.pallidaproduced antiserum which bound strongly to the surface of the nematodes. When the antiserum was separated into immunoglobulin G (IgG) or non IgG fractions, each fraction still bound to the entire body surface. Another rabbit
was immunised with a mixture of whole J2 of G. pallida and antiserum to G. rostochiensis When the antiserum was fractionated as previously, the IgG component bound to the amphids or surface of the head, whereas the non-1 gG bound only to the amphids. The reasons for this change of specificity and its possible uses are discussed.
